The Last Supper

One night, Jesus had a special supper with his friends. The lamps glowed warm and bright.

Jesus loved his friends. He picked up the bread and thanked God. Then he shared it with each friend.

Jesus told them the bread was really him, a gift of his love. He shared the cup with them.

Jesus still shares this gift with us at Mass. When the priest holds up the Host, Jesus is really there, because he loves us so much!
