The Woman at the Well

Jesus walked a long, long way. The sun was hot, and Jesus was tired.

He sat down by a deep well. Then a woman came to get water. Splash went her jar!

Jesus asked her for some water. She was surprised! Her people and Jesus' people did not usually talk to each other.

But Jesus was kind to her. He told her about a special water that only he can give. It fills us up inside with God's life, and it never runs out.

Jesus knew all about her, and he loved her. She was so happy that she ran to tell everyone in her town about Jesus.

Jesus loves every person, everywhere. God loves you!
