Jesus Calms the Storm

Jesus and his friends got into a boat. Rock, rock, rock went the little boat on the lake.

Jesus was tired. He lay down on a cushion and fell asleep.

Then whoosh! The wind blew hard. The waves splashed into the boat. Jesus' friends were scared, and they woke him up.

Jesus woke up. He told the wind to stop. He told the waves to hush.

And everything was still. No more wind. No more big waves. Just a quiet, calm lake.

Jesus' friends were amazed. The wind and the waves listened to Jesus!

When you feel scared, you can call to Jesus. He is always with you. Jesus loves you!
